RealBollywoodNews is reporting that Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai have been cast in Action Replay (yeah, horrible title…), a film which will be unofficially based on the popular 1985 Robert Zemeckis film Back to the Future. BTTF.com was able to contact Future producer/screenwriter Bob Gale who denied any knowledge of the production.

Kylie Minogue to sing for A. R. Rahman12.16.08

Popular Australian singer Kylie Minogue will be singing a song which has been composed by music wizard A. R. Rahman. The song will feature in the film ‘Blue’ which stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta. Reports suggest that the music diva will be paid a staggering 5 crores for the song. The recording is expected to happen next month and Kylie Minogue will land in India with her entire troupe. Interestingly, the lady will also feature in the video of the song.
According to reports A. R. Rahman had considered two other pop divas Madonna and Rihanna earlier. But then things didn’t work out as expected.
‘Blue’ is expected to be one of the most expensive films ever made in India surpassing 100 crores.
International flavor in Indian films is sure to make many heads turn towards India. Sure looks like an innovative trend.

Kareena Kapoor was offered a role of a lifetime by Bend it like Beckham director Gurinder Chadda for her next flick opposite handsome hunk Johnny Depp.

The NRI director is also set to make a big-budget Hollywood flick, but poor Kareena denied the film as she had dates problem and moreover she was not impressed with the offer.

Well with films like 3 idiots with Aamir Khan, Kambaqt Ishq with Akshay Kumar and Main aur Mrs Khanna with Sallu in her kitty, Bebo has nothing to worry about, not even Johnny Depp.

With the success of Akshay Kumar’s latest film, “Singh is Kinng”, he’s quickly becoming the biggest star at the box office. We mention previously that the film has been invited by the prestigious Toronto Film Festival for a special screening.

And now Akshay Kumar has been signed on as the brand ambassador of popular denim brand Levi’s.

The Ads were shot in US on Akshay and supermodel Sara to promote the 501 Jeans of Levi’s. The campaign is based on the theme of Live Unbuttoned and therefore American models unbutton Akshay in the Ads.
