Belonging to a traditional South Indian family, she started her career with modeling. At the tender age of 17 she won Ford Supermodel contest. Her famous Pepsi commercial with Aamir Khan & several other high–profile AD campaigns brought her into limelight.
After creating enough dhoom in ad world, she registered herself in Miss India pageant and won second place.
