FASHION to continue great run of UTV in 2008
UTV has had a dream year in 2008 with all its releases performing exceptionally well at the box office. Right from blockbusters like ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, ‘Race’ and ‘Kismat Konnection’ to small and medium budget films like ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ (overseas release),’Aamir’, ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’, ‘A Wednesday’ and ‘Welcome To Sajjanpur’, critics and audiences have reacted with enthusiasm to every release from the UTV stable.
This Diwali the studio brings audiences Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’ starring Priyanka Chopra, one of the most awaited films of 2008. ‘Fashion’ will be followed up with ‘Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye!’ from the director of ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, Dibakar Banerjee; ‘Dev D’, a modern day retelling of ‘Devdas’, directed by Anurag Kashyap and ‘Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge’, a laugh riot, starring Paresh Rawal, Kunal Khemu, Sonu Sood and Soha Ali Khan.
