New DW Shirt! Desi United.
We are constantly asked from our customers around the world: Why doesn’t DW carry religious symbol shirts? You know, the shirts with a “Super Om” or “Super Khanda”? There are tons out there.
Here is DW’s view: Since the birth of DW in 1994, DW has never depicted one religion over the other, matter of fact we have never made any reference to religion in our designs, and that is because we believe we should be unified rather than divided.
We at DW want to “Unite” the world – we are all equal.
People may choose to have religion be a personal source of strength and faith, but it should not be used to divide us or place one person above another.
We felt that designing a shirt that depicted ‘Unity’, would be the only way we would ever design using religious symbols . So we came up with the “Desi United” Football Style Shirt.
Peace and Love, United we stand, Divided we fall.
